The Jorney
Site-specific performance spreading over four districts of St. Petersburg.
The performance is rooted in the philosophy of Carlos Castaneda: to perceive the streets, rivers, and courtyards of St. Petersburg as an alternate, previously undiscovered realm where one meets one’s friends and foes, offering an opportunity for a fresh self-discovery.

Presenting a series of three audio plays centered around young women from Ukraine.
Produced for the "theatre of resistance" project.
"Through the example of three stories based on documentary evidence, one can see the changes in the lives of civilians since the beginning of the war. Each of the plays talks about their challenges through different perspectives: work, love, and life."
Irina is a playwright and writer from Ukraine who left the country after the start of the war. In November 2022, she invited the “resistance theater” platform to make a series of audio plays based on three of her plays. The first two were written by Irina personally, and the third was co-authored with Kiev-based artist Masha Denisova.

I am Here. The Chronicles of Little People
Fulcro creators grapple with fundamental questions: What can we⦁do⦁today? What is⦁the right thing to⦁do? How do⦁we⦁avoid lying? These questions do⦁not only apply to⦁the artists but rather to⦁the whole world.
Today, each team member is⦁immersed in⦁their unique life experiences, scattered across different corners of⦁the globe (the reason they got there is, however, shared by⦁everyone).
Surprisingly, the physical proximity that was once a⦁prerequisite for team cohesion before February 2022 is⦁no⦁longer essential. The concept of⦁a⦁collective "we" persists, connecting the individual authors, the Stepan Razin factory, St. Petersburg, and the audience.
The overarching statement of⦁the Fulcro team is⦁as⦁follows: "It is⦁crucial for us⦁to⦁affirm our existence. We⦁are here, and we⦁are exerting every effort."
The "I am⦁Here" project unfolds in⦁13 distinct segments, each being an⦁autonomous expression governed by⦁its own set of⦁principles. Every participant orchestrates their online performance within the "Around the Fulcro Theater" Telegram channel. The project has been saved and can be⦁explored further in⦁our channel at
telegram.

Public educational program supported by the Regional Jewish Congress.
The program consisted of 12 events held both online and offline. It focused on reflections on the catastrophes of the 20th century, including the Shoah — the Catastrophe of European Jewry.
Supervised by Daria Shamina, the director of FULCRO, and historian Maria Gulakova, the program featured meetings with notable artists and researchers from St. Petersburg and other Russian cities, including Valery Dymshits, one of the prominent researchers of Yiddish culture.
Speakers included Valery Dymshits, Sonya Dymshits (playwright and director), Anastasia Kim (theatre producer), Vyacheslav Zilberbord (president of the Music Education Support Fund), Maria Gulakova (historian), and more.

The independent drama festival "Lyubimovka" is a non-profit international project dedicated to Russian-speaking playwrights. "Echo of Lyubimovka" carries on the tradition of the festival, which, in its initial years, took place in the Lyubimovka estate of Konstantin Stanislavsky near Moscow.
Over the past fifteen years, "Lyubimovka" has been hosted at the Moscow "Theater.doc." Due to the onset of the war, holding the festival in Moscow as before has been no longer possible. Nevertheless, teams across the globe, including Estonia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Israel, France, and others, persist in their efforts, hosting the festivals even now.

"The Lyubimovka team is thrilled that our initiative is thriving, even after the festival's departure from Russia. It's heartening to see more people from different countries embracing 'Echo of Lyubimovka.' It’s especially cool that one of the organizers of ‘Echo’ in Tel Aviv has been Evgeny Kazachkov, the former art director of “Lyubimovka” and our great friend. Despite passing the reins to us three years ago, Zhenya has been a steadfast supporter during challenging times, continuing to contribute to the festival and the broader drama community."
The Echo of Lyubimovka festival in Tel Aviv was produced by the management of the FULCRO theater together with Evgeny Kazachkov with the support of the Malenky theater in November 2022.

In June 2023, the Fulcro Theater took part in the SlovoNovo Free Culture Forum at the ANU Museum, a significant cultural and educational institution in Israel. The program also featured the excerpts from the upcoming documentary about the theater “Fulcro the Foothold” directed by Vladimir Nepevny.
Noteworthy figures such as Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Vladimir Sorokin, Dmitry Krymov, Vitaly Mansky, and various other public figures and artists also participated in SlovoNovo.
